I have put together a list of things to do with your family in October in Dublin and surrounding areas. I find sometimes when you are looking for things to do you totally forget what is on so this is a handy guide that you can keep coming back to. Some events are a little drive outside Dublin but I have linked all events so you can see where they are and what suits you best. Hope it gives you some ideas of things to do!

We are back again. Join us in the Irish Military War Museum on Saturday 7th & Sunday 8th of October for our Pick a Pumpkin and Play event. Also on the Sunday we will be hosting the “Giant Pumpkin Weigh In Competition”. No extra charge into this, but it’s definitely something not to be missed.
€10 per child includes unlimited access onto all our Bouncy Castles & Obstacle Courses & a Pumpkin of your choice.

Meet Captain Jack & Penelope Sail, help them find redbeards famous ship & hidden treasure before the evil captain hook. Follow the treasure map to the haunted part of the sea. Look out for evil captain hook along the way. Once the treasure is successfully found – each child will get there own gold treasure to bring home
On the way back from the haunted part of the sea, you will get to visit the Pirates Pumpkin Patch. Pick and carve your pumpkin.

Baby and Toddler Week October 2017

We are running a gorgeous ‘Baby & Toddler Week’ from Monday 23rd of October to Sunday 29th October 2017 with guest speakers and play sessions across 7 different areas (Full list below).
Each attendee will also get to paint a pottery tile with their baby or toddler’s handprint as part of their session.
*Price: €8.50 = entry fee per participating child on ‘Play Days’ with a limit of one adult per child. On ‘Expert Talk Days’ a ticket must be bought per attending adult. Non-participating babes in arms are welcome. Price includes session + one free pottery tile + tea or coffee (tea/coffee only served on ‘Expert Talk Days’).
Any mugs painted at this session (optional activity) are discounted to €12 (from €16). You will also be able to avail of a €20 voucher on the day for the price of €10, allowing you to come back another day to paint presents for Christmas etc or bring along an older sibling.

Each pass will comprise of 4 complimentary wristbands which will allow a family of four to enter the Haunted Forest at any of the separate attendance sessions.

This Halloween we are celebrating the life of the 3rd Earl of Rosse who actually passed away on Halloween night 150 years ago. This Halloween, we will take you through a soul shivering story starting in the dark of the courtyard, through the anam of the Keep Gate and on into the Castle. The story will be animated by our amazing team who will bring to life the story of a nightmare ending for an astronomical genius…
The experience lasts 45 minutes and tickets are priced €12.50 per child (up to 16 yrs) and €8 per accompanying adult. This event is not recommended for children under the age of 7*.Recommended for children 7- 13 years(it is Halloween scary – if children are afraid of the dark this is not recommended, children must be supervised by parents at all times).
